Radio Ga Ga?

I’ve gotten back into Ham Radio this year. I’ve had my license for about 20 years now, and rarely did much with it, but finally decided to get into it. So I programmed a couple repeaters into a cheap handheld Baofeng Ham Radio and started chatting with folks. A local repeater does “The Morning Grind” every day at 9am to check in with folks — anywhere from 10 to 20 amateurs will generally sound off either locally or via Echolink.

Trying to get my kiddos more involved, I picked up a few FRS and GMRS radios, and got my GMRS license as well — my youngest has become very enamored of it.

Out of curiosity, I decided to make a pocket reference card for the FRS and GMRS channels, so I can tune to monitor them on my ham equipment as easily — not broadcast, as you need explicitly FRS- or GMRS-approved hardware to transmit on those frequencies.

If it’s useful to anyone else, here y’go — it’s sized to match a credit card, for convenient storage in your wallet:
